Victor Valle

Victor Valle

Victor was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico. Since an early age, his father taught him the basic concepts of running. He used to wake up early in the morning with his father to go run in the mountains. At the age of 12, he joined a swimming team and won multiple medals in state and national competitions. Since running was always an integral part of his training, at the age of 16 he decided to run a full marathon. He managed to complete the distance (pretty much on his knees) and promised never to do it again. However, because of his passion and fascination with the sport, he continued running and in his early twenties, completed several half marathons and won some local 5K and 10K races. In his early 30s, Victor moved to the U.S. and continued running and swimming. Victor has completed multiple full and half marathons as well as an ultra. He races an average of 4 full marathons and 2-3 half marathons a year. He trains 6-7 times a week and loves to run the Arizona trails early in the morning. He is good at jumping away from rattle snakes and at tripping and falling on trails (he also has many scars to prove it). He believes that long distance running can be accomplished following an all-natural diet and does not use any type of dietary supplements or sugary drinks.
