Traci Pogue

Traci completed her first marathon in the fall of 2013 and swore to never run one again. A year later, Traci decided to try again. On her 4th marathon she qualified for Boston and completed the Boston Marathon in 2017. She also ran the New York marathon that same year and the Chicago marathon the following year. Traci is now traveling the US trying to complete marathons in all 50 states before going international.

Other than training her 11-year-old daughter for her first half marathon last March, Traci runs for the pure enjoyment. Being a Junior High principal, running gives her time to focus and solve most dilemmas before the day begins. Traci’s staff only requests she does not send them messages of her epiphanies at 3:00am when she is running, and they are sleeping.
