Thomas Johnson

Thomas started running with the Indianapolis 500 Half while training with friends at Ball State University, and since 1993 completed over 50 half marathons.   His first Full marathon was The Flying Pig, in his former home town of Cincinnati.   You can find Thomas volunteering to train and pace runners in the neighborhoods of Atlanta, GA working with the Atlanta Track Club. Thomas enjoys helping people achieve their goals and set new PRs in 10K, 15K (his favorite distance to race), half marathons, and will be back to 26.2 at the USMC Marathon in Oct. 2019.   He hopes to run till he is 100 years old, and explore America on foot with his latest passion of running half marathons at the National Parks. H has completed 11 of the 14 current Vacation Races at the National Parks, and hopefully you’ll say HI if you see him pacing, or racing at one of the parks in the future.
