Starting off as a swimmer, Theresa Cordonier swam competitively growing up. She has always had the drive to excel and compete in sports. Being a competitive swimmer for over 12 years, Theresa decided to get in to other endurance sports like running and triathlons. So, in 2005 Theresa signed up for her first olympic distance triathlon in Lake St. Louis, MO. She got first place in her age group at that race and has been hooked ever since. Theresa has competed in more than 15 half marathons all over the United states since 2007 and raced the Rock n Roll St. Louis marathon in 2013. Theresa has also competed in three half ironman distance triathlons at Rev3 Cedar Point in 2011, 70.3 Kansas in 2012, and 70.3 Muncie in 2014. She also competed in Ironman Texas in 2013.
Theresa has taken her love of these endurance sports and put them in to coaching. She coaches high school swimming where she teaches high school science.
