After losing over 120 lbs, Sue took up running in 2012 and ran her first 5K that fall. After being challenged by a friend, Sue ran her first half marathon in 2014 and followed that with her first marathon the fall of 2014. She has never looked back since. Her daughter has been bitten by the running bug as well, after years of telling her mom she was nuts for running. She says she now “gets it.” This started her volunteer career as a coach with one of her local running clubs encouraging and helping others reach their goals, whether it is running their first 5K to a first marathon, or just wanting to be fit.
