Stacy started running in her late 30’s with a goal to just finish a 5k without walking. After months of training she succeeded and continued to run that same event for the next four years, each time getting PR. She really started taking a liking to running when she signed up for her first race at Disneyland. Her goals and training changed as she started running more and desiring to run her first half marathon. She followed the Galloway run/walk/run method and successfully trained for her first half marathon through Disneyland. In two years she’s added five more half marathons, five 10ks, two Ragnars and many more events ranging from 5-15k. Stacy loves to meet new people and run with friends. She doesn’t focus on time but focuses on having fun and encouraging others. Stacy also loves fun photos and has become an expert at taking them. Her signature pose is jumping with her arms up and flashing a big smile. So watch out, when she sees a camera she springs up and strikes a pose!
