Pamela Howe

Pam is Vice President – Accounting for an independent insurance agency in Savannah, GA.  She began running for fitness later in life than most, but she quickly fell in love with the sport and became a racing enthusiast.  She ran her first marathon at age 50, just 8 months following her very first 5K.  She was hooked.  Pam has since run countless races from 5K to marathon, having qualified for the Boston Marathon 3 times in her first 2 years of running the distance, with the 2016 running of the prestigious race being her first to experience.  She loves to travel for races and try new courses.  Being a USATF trained coach, Pam enjoys running with and encouraging all levels of runners.  She facilitates a weekly run group based out of a local running store.  The run is affectionately called “Pacing with Pam” by the store owner.  She volunteers at local races and running events helping to raise money for local non-profit charities.  When Pam is not running, she enjoys practicing yoga, cycling and spending time with her family.  She is very excited to be a pacer and have the opportunity to help her fellow runners reach their goals
