Nick’s running journey started in May 2014. When Nick started running, he was 300 lbs and could only run for about 30 seconds at a time. Using Couch to 5 K, he ran his first 5 K in October 2014. It took 42:33 for Nick to complete his first 5 K and be completely in love with running.
Since then, through running, triathlon, and lessons learned from both he has lost over 160 lbs. Nick has also completed multiple marathons and 50K’s. In November 2019, he was able to check one of his big running goals off the list by running a half marathon in under an hour and a half with a 1:28:41 at the Philadelphia half marathon.
Nick plans on continuing to set big goals, and push his limits. He also wants to continue to find ways to give back to the running and triathlon community and support runners and triathletes around him.
