During Mike’s first marathon, he thought, “I don’t know if I want to do this again.” But recovery went well and three days later he registered for his second marathon. Many marathons later, he races, paces, and runs some just for the scenery and photography. But his running isn’t all marathons. Mike has run hundreds of races of shorter distances. It all started at a 5K fundraiser back in 1996. Over the years, he has learned from his mistakes and can help you avoid making the same mistakes common to all runners. He views pacing as being “coach for a day” and will help you improve your running as well as beat your goal time. He might even throw in a few running trivia questions along the way. When he’s not running, Mike gets a daily workout from his job as a UPS driver.
