Megan transitioned from running for exercise to training for her first marathon in 2006. Maintaining her running through 3 pregnancies, she found joy in connecting with others runners on the road. Inspired by friends and supported by family she qualified for the Boston Marathon and ran it in 2015. Going on to run New York City marathon 2016, and a PR at California International Marathon 2017, she hopes to travel to some of the top world marathon locations.
