Mandi McBride

Mandi started running in the summer 2004 and ran her first marathon in the fall of 2004.  Mandi went on a humanitarian trip to Haiti in January 2010 and arrived there 30 hours before a 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit and killed over 300,000 people.  Mandi is a registered nurse and helped several people in need after the earthquake. It was devastating and the most difficult thing that she had ever experienced in her life. After Mandi returned home from Haiti, she decided that she was going to qualify for Boston and dedicate that run to all of the families that lost so many loved ones in the earthquake. That year Mandi ran Top of Utah marathon and qualified.  That was Mandi’s second marathon.  She went to Boston in April 2011 and had the most amazing experience ever.

Since then, Mandi has completed more than 50 1/2 marathons, 20 full marathons, and several ultra marathons. She enjoys helping runners reach their goals and has paced several races over the years.  Mandi has met so many amazing people and enjoys hearing others stories.
