Kim Wason

Kim has enjoyed running full and half marathons for many years.   After her first marathon in Chicago, she was hooked on distance races.   For many years she has been being a team leader for her local running groups’ summer and winter marathon training programs, which gives her an opportunity to meet new runners and share and celebrate the excitement when someone runs the “longest distance ever” or reaches a PR goal.  Kim also enjoys pacing races and motivating the runners through the race and helping them reach the finish line.

Kim is a social runner and really enjoys running with others and learning more about the runners in her group, encouraging them to set and work toward their goals and celebrating when they reach a new goal or the finish line.

She is a middle school Health teacher and wants to set a positive, healthy example to her students as well as her own children.
