Ken is home based in Mesa, AZ with his wife where they moved to from Grandville, MI in 2019.
He has been running on and off for a number of years but started taking it more seriously when he wanted to lose some excess weight in my mid to late 20s. His true passion for running and competition kicked into high gear soon after his training began.
He has plans to complete his 100th marathon next year at the Boston Marathon to cap one of his last true long term running goals. He has raced across all distances and hold PRs of 2:38 (Full), 1:12 (Half), 15:56 (5K), that he is most proud off. He was also a sponsored distance runner with Team CW-X for a number of years and also trained/coached a number of runners training for distances from 5Ks to Ultras. He is currently part of Team Stellafly, a multi-discipline team based out of West Michigan.
Since 2008 he has run at least 40 halfs, a dozen 25Ks, well over 100 5Ks and 10Ks, and currently 95 marathons, including 2 Ultras. He says that running has given so much to him, in so many ways, that he now enjoys the chance to give back in the form of pacing. He is an avid pacer for half’s, 25Ks and fulls all over North America.
