Kelsey began to grow a love for running in 2012 after completing her time as a collegiate athlete in field hockey at Lebanon Valley College. After years of competing and training for various sports as a member of a team, she was drawn to the sport of running for its personal and introspective nature, as well as the support and connections it provided.
She ran her first half marathon in 2013 in Hershey, PA and finished in 1:54—the running bug had bit! After graduating with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy, she moved to Southeastern Virginia, where she became a part of a local running club that served as a social and supportive base to show the best of what the running community has to offer. While in Virginia in 2015, she ran her half marathon PR, finishing in 1:49. In 2016, she ventured to complete her first triathlon at Bethany Beach—they warned me it would happen—I’m hooked!
While the mild Virginia weather was hard to leave, she currently lives back north in the Philadelphia area, where she and her Australian Cattle dog, Bowen, love to run the trails. Kelsey will be training for her first marathon in 2017 in Portland, OR, and is excited to make the jump up to a full! She enjoys motivating others, promoting lifelong health, and can’t wait to help you meet your goals!
