Katie started running in 2017 with a great group of friends who encouraged her to complete her first marathon while deployed. Running changed her life forever as she found an outlet for stress and anxiety during training runs. It helped her build confidence in her self, lose weight and become healthier overall. She completed two marathons that year and the running passion was born. Since then she’s continued to run both road races and trail races from half marathons to 100k races.
She has a passion for running and encouraging others to enjoy the sport.
