Kari Fisher

Kari started running in 2011 with coworkers as a way to support Walk like MADD 5k.  Soon thereafter she began running in 5k and 10k races. She did her first half marathon in 2015. Since then she has ran several 5k, 10k, and half marathons.

In 2016 she ran the Sawtooth Relay in scenic Stanley, Idaho. Her team “Legs 4 Miles” took turns running a total distance of about 60 miles from Stanley to Ketchum, Idaho.

In 2017 she was ready for another challenge and ran the hardest half marathon in the northwest called Race to Robie Creek. It was a blast and she can’t wait to run it again.

For Kari running is a friends and family event. She loves encouraging others to get outside and run. Each year she looks forward to running the Fit One 10k with her friends and family. She usually volunteers to run and push her nieces in a double stroller in beautiful Boise, Idaho.
