Jill started running in 2012 to try to combat some health issues running with her son who has been her biggest cheerleader. After completing numerous 5ks and 10ks she decided on taking that next step and signed up for her first half marathon in Chicago 2015. Since then she has completed quite a few halfs and enjoys runDisney challenge weekends with her sons favorite charity Noah’s Light Foundation. During one of her half marathons she gave running the race with a pacer a try and loved the camaraderie of the pace group as well as running with others aiming for the same goal. Ended the race with a huge PR, but walked away from the run looking at continuing that same support for others. Joined a couple local run groups where she has and her son have become route navigators for their pace group. Now she is looking forward to stepping up her distance running and has a few marathons on the horizon.
