Jen started running long distance to train for a half marathon in August 2013. Her first daughter was just shy of a year old, so baby got to ride in a jogging stroller for miles upon miles while her mom trained for her first half. Her first half was her PR (1:46) and she’s been chasing it since. Jen has run several halves, one full marathon, and especially enjoys long distance relays of about 200 miles. She recently dabbled in speed-work to achieve a police academy female record for the 500 yard run, but she much prefers long distance training and races. She loves helping others achieve finish line goals and also enjoys helping others discover the happy addiction of running.
