Heidi Heckel

Heidi has been running since middle school cross-county. She got into running through playing soccer where she realized she just loved to run! In middle school Paula Radcliff was her inspiration and she made a goal to run a marathon. In 2016 she upped her distance to complete her first half marathon at the Columbus Marathon and she became addicted! In 2017 she ran the Xenia marathon as her first marathon and placed 2nd in her age group! In 2017 she joined the Ohio Rivers Road Running Club and it fueled her passion further. In 2018 she ran her first and second 50k, 12-hour endurance race and branched out to complete Ohio 70.3 Triathlon. In 2018 she got her first Garmin watch and started pacing her friends which ignited her more. She joined the pace team at the Corridor Classic in Dayton, OH.  She loves helping others reach their goals and now paces for a variety of races.
