Heather Puckett

Heather started her running journey in 2016 after adopting not one but two Labrador puppies. As the puppies grew, she discovered one had a never ending supply of energy and just loves to “Go! Go! Go!” Running became their way to burn off the energy and a way to connect with other people in the community. Heather found runspiration in a friend’s tales of running Disney, her own love of Disney Princesses, and a sweet fur child. Despite a lack of experience, she found herself signing up for her first Princess half marathon in Disney World. She had no idea how she was going to do it, but she knew she was going to try. She cried as she crossed the finish line of her first half marathon and she knew she was hooked.

Shortly into her journey, Heather discovered she had a desire to be a part of others’ experiences. She became a half marathon pacing coach and loves having the opportunity to cheer on runners as they achieve new distances and learn they are capable of so much more than they ever thought possible.

Now several years in, she has run numerous races and is well into her goal of running a half marathon in every state. Through their adventures they found an amazing running community and family with whom she has run numerous races in multiple states. It has been one crazy, nonstop, running adventure!
