Glimber started running in May of 2008 as a way to overcome the lowest point of his life. It took him about three days to be able to run around the block, and about two weeks to fully run a mile non-stop. In August of that same year, he ran his first 10k ever which allowed for him to discover a feeling beyond words when crossing a finish line.
It was until October of 2009 when he tackled his first half marathon, with no other races prior but the 10k back in 2008. Just two weeks after his first half marathon, he ran his first marathon ever. A crazy thing to do, but the running bug had gotten a hold of him.
Glimber now races anything from a mile to a full marathon, and anything in between. He has run more than 15 marathons and more than 20 half marathons and has participated in big races such as: LA, Boston, New York, and Chicago Marathons.
His journey as a pacer started in 2012 at The OC Marathon which he’s been pacing ever since.
