Francisco Mujica

Francisco has been running since 2004 when he joined his high school Cross Country and Track and Field teams. He became passionate about the sport because his coach always supported him and pushed him to do his best. After graduating high school, he attended CSU Fresno where he started to look into long distance running. In 2009 he ran the Two Cities marathon in Fresno and finished top 10. Since then he has taken up running long distance events, participating in duathlons and is looking forward to run an ultramarathon. When not running, Francisco is working on his Physical Education teaching credential and substituting full time in the Santa Maria Bonita School District. Working with students has led him to also try to make an impact on adults by encouraging them to run their best through pacing. Now at 30 years old Francisco has set the goals of running a 1:15 half marathon, a 2:45 marathon and participate in an ironman triathlon.
