Emma MacIntyre

Emma began running during high school in 2012 when she was convinced to switch from playing soccer to running cross country. She continued to run both cross country and track competitively throughout college. In college, Emma stuck to mid distance events and swore she would never convert to being a full blown distance runner. The longest track race that Emma ran was the 3000 m steeplechase (yes, the horse race). That being said, after graduation Emma started to train for a half marathon which eventually led to multiple full marathons. Emma loves running with others and has found joy watching her training buddies shatter their goals. She enjoys being a pacer and helping other fellow runners accomplish their goals. Outside of running, Emma works in the medical device industry as an engineer. Emma went to school for biomedical and mechanical engineering on the east coast and is passionate about making a positive contribution in the medical world.
