Elizabeth never thought she’d be a runner. Times change, people change. During graduate school, Elizabeth took up running as a method of stress relief and has been at it for the last twelve years.
As her two kids came along, Elizabeth had to adjust to the reality of being a mom and the time constraint that raising active boys entails. She has rediscovered her passion for running and pursues it as often as she is able. She is currently training for another marathon, an extension of multiple half marathons under her belt. Elizabeth focuses on going the distance over going fast.
When she’s not running around her classroom or running after her active boys, she can be found running her sewing machine or chasing a character through a good novel.
