Don is formerly a lazy sprinter on his high school track team who never considered racing farther than 400m until he turned 25 and found a housemate who was training for her third marathon the following year. He thought it would be cool to run his age in miles at least once in his life, and completed the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon in San Diego as his first race longer than 15km. Don enjoys reading, writing, watching movies, and the challenge of qualifying for the Boston Marathon. To make running as easy as possible for himself, he likes lightweight shoes, wearing a GPS watch so he doesn’t have to guess how slow he’s going, keeping his hair short for good aerodynamics, and breathing fresh air and avoiding UV rays in the early morning.
