Dave Hopkins

David wasn’t much of a runner (or athlete) until 2003, when he and some friends decided to try the Great Aloha Run in Hawaii.  It was amazing feat to complete 8.15 miles!  From that point on, he was hooked on finding out what is possible with the average human body.  Since then, he started triathlons in 2005, Ironman in 2007, and marathon pacing in 2008.  He’s now completed nearly 80 marathons, 11 Ironman races, and a few ultramarathons and long distance swims.  In addition, he is a Certified Spinning Instructor, and USAT Certified Coach.  A bike accident in 2007 affected him greatly and he appreciates that every run is a blessing for everyone, down to a 5k.  Thus, sharing the ability with others and seeing others’ accomplishments first-hand, is a very exciting opportunity!  Come join us, listen for the horn, and let’s have fun together!
