Claire Ballard

Claire began running in 2015 when she was 15 years old. She couldn’t run more than just a couple miles when her parents decided to run a full marathon together. After seeing their dedication and success she was inspired to run a half marathon (Rock n Roll San Diego) in 2015 with her sister. During her first year studying at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, she ran her first full marathon. To Claire, running is something that takes a lot of work and doesn’t come as naturally as it might for others but the effort is so worth it. She knows how hard it is to break milestones as she had 3 half marathons in a row all just seconds away from finishing within 2 hours. With the sense of accomplishment that accompanied breaking this time, she decided that she wanted to be a pacer to help others achieve personal goals.
