Chuck was a competitive racer in High School with PRs of 4:27 for the mile and 9:40 for the 2-mile, and a 3-mile PR of 15:40. However, after high school, Chuck did not run competitively in college, and with marriage and kids, he took about a decade off from running completely.
In 2010, Chuck decided he didn’t like the way he looked and felt after so many years away from running, and decided to pursue a lifelong goal of completing a marathon. After nearly two years of training, Chuck finished his first Marathon in July of 2012 in 3:20:43. Since then, Chuck has run a few other marathons and has brought his Marathon PR down to 3:04:25 and also holds a Half-Marathon PR of 1:27:02. Chuck’s proudest running moment was completing the Boston Marathon in 2014.
Chuck enjoys racing, and loves the running community. He looks forward to helping pace you to a personal best, and hopefully have some fun along the way!
