Bear started out as a very heavy set runner. We are talking VERY heavy–300 plus pounds. It was an activity to stay healthy but it turned into so much more for him. Now he is running under 200 pounds and helping others run as a Mentor. Bear sees running as a part of his life. He has competed in many half-marathons, marathons, obstacle course races and even ran a 50k just for fun. Bear loves to dance. It explains why many runners in his hometown of Burbank know who he is. He will stop to bust a move for you if you ask. To Bear, running is all about having a good time and getting in a great workout. Running with Bear will leave you with a smile.
