Andy started running in college in an attempt to lose weight. While slowly increasing distance and dropping pounds along the way, he discovered running as time for him to clear his head and work things out mentally. After being invited to join a local running club, he then found people with a common goal to push themselves and each other. With much encouragement, he ran his first half marathon in the fall of 2018.
Wanting to challenge himself even more, Andy began triathlon training in the summer of 2019. With 4 half marathons, two triathlons and multiple short distance races in less than a year he is hooked on pushing himself physically and enjoys helping others do the same. Andy is now training for his first full marathon to complete in the spring of 2020.
